Try playing an audio file on a native app or other apps, then play on this app with "3D" or equalizer OFF.

Native playback sounds WAY better than Booms player with options turned off.

Is boom intentionally reducing parameters setting for audio to sound week & unpleasant until you turn on Booms features? Sure sounds like it.
