READ READ BEFORE UPDATING. Loved it before update.
Loved it before this last update. After the update, I deleted the app. I bit the apple and then experienced the fall after the update. Before the update, the 3D function was amazing. The presets were great. I heard things in the mix that were previously buried. Amazing. It was glitchy and interface a bit buggy in touch response; the app would crash or not change screens when pressing commands; however, it was bearable BECAUSE the sound was AWESOME. However, I would not pay for something so immature in development. (I work in R&D at a hardware and software company). Yet, even with the bugs, Id give THE LAST VERSION, five stars. ***** because it made mixes come alive.
Read on about update.
Big Disappointment #1:
The update removed 3D and selectable preset EQ options. I told my friends and musicians about it; they downloaded the update... it was not what I told them about.
Big Disappointment #2:
A friend downloaded it, and the app did not allow him access to his paid subscription in Apple Music--even after asking him to pick an option of music to access. It gave him a message DRM prevented access to his music. Bad roll out of a feature. If a person is subscribed, and playing on one device, the software should give the handshake to acknowledge its the same device allow use of a paid service. Tells me there was not enough planning in the roll out or testing user experience--to work with Apple so the digital rights license recognized the same device vs. a new app and deny use.
