Awesome! Love it!

Ive downloaded idk how many players and this one is by far the best! Bought the paid version in 5min! My Powerbeats3 sound way better with this app compared to apples default player, brought the true quality out of them! Only thing missing is a volume booster. Also Id like to have the option to choose different visualizers for the music. 5 Stars if those get added ??

I really like this app. I wish I could leave 5 stars, however this app is not worth $4. It is probably only worth half of that. There is a bug currently where the app is constantly freezing and crashing which is super annoying. Please fix.

Problem: you have to copy playlists to Dropbox, it plays, but cant work with Apples DRM. Until Apple changes its policy or Sherlocks (copies) this program, this is the best audio program Ive used. I bought a portable headphone amp (FiiO E11K) but in my pretty good cans, it offered nothing added over my iPhone. This Boom for IOS really makes a huge difference. Ive had this app long enough to see a few upgrades, and its always getting better. I dont listen to this all the time, but when I want to hear my favorite music, it sounds so much dialed in. And now I have presets for my different headphones and earpods. They all sound significantly better! Totally worth whatever it costs compared to a bulky, rechargeable expensive separate device.

Great hearing experience but bad support in different language display, as well as the cloud music support or music library display. Hope to see a great improvement in near future.

Love this app! I design home speakers and build them. I use 1/3 octave eq for my stereo system, I have been let down with iPad and iPhone music players because there is no 1/3 octave eq, this is the best compromise I have found. Yes I spent the $2.99 for the "package" and for that amount, I am impressed. I use on ear headphones, when not in house or car. My headphones will now need to be upgraded to some Martin Logan or B&O. Great job for an app that anyone can use and not have to program. I have had this app for a couple of days, they sent me a request for what I would do to improve it. I have had the pleasure of working with some of the best speaker designers in the world on home and car audio. I replied to the app designers that I would add a graphic eq. of at least 7 bands. In four days they updated with programmable eq. with even more bands in advanced mode. I now am running my iPad through my home sound system and with pink noise generated, I am within 1db of flat across 20htz through 20khtz measured with an Audio Controlls 1/3 octave spectrum analyzer. I applaud you guys! I also spent some time with my song collection ( over two thousand ) and only had trouble with iTunes songs that are drm protected. I have had no problems with reliability of song play back. I run Pioneer Elite series receiver with pre amp outputs for all 7.1 Chanel surround and 2 B&K 442 amps front and rear, B&K 202 amp side fill and B&K 202 mono center with another B&K 202 mono on front sub and another B&K 202 mono on rear sub. My iPad used as source for music library. I am in audiophile heaven.

very good enhancements.. way better than the built-in player... my music definitely sound better.... It would be better if there is an individual volume control on each speakers to balance the surround especially the 2 front speakers because they are too loud when turned on.. and also a list view for the playlist since I have a lot of playlists...This is the only app that I bought that is worth buying!!!

This has the potential to be a great app but it is seriously hindered by the fact that it doesnt support certain types of MP3 encoding. I have MP3s that Ive purchased from Amazon and Boom will appear to play those back going so far as to provide the UI animations etc but there is no sound. Other MP3s Ive purchased from Amazon have no problem. The weird thing is, it can playback old iTunes DRM protected media no problem. Ive contacted support. Once Boom resolves this bug, Ill update my feedback and raise the rating accordingly.

The bass is boosted fantastical and the surround feature is super realistic. When you download this youre limited to only a few days with the "boom" effects but by the time that trial is over youre hooked. The price to keep the "boom" effect is fairly cheap ($3).

Best of the best player ever i used before.

Normally I hate writing app reviews, but I couldnt ever have been more pleased to write this one. The quality shaping that this app provides for your music is so wonderfully beyond anything I thought imaginable, that it could quite possibly even improve hearing. I can only rate this app 5 out of 5 stars for 100% approval, though if I could, Id easily rate it 5 times more that amount for a well deserved approval rating of 500%. Sorry, but you are honestly foolish if you dont bother to try and get this God Send of an app. You will surely not be disappointed at all. Youve got nothing to lose, only to gain. You would only be missing out if you didnt at least try. This app is absolutely and undoubtably perfect just the way it is as I see it now, from its interface, to its navigation, and especially to its sound quality and just quality in general as a whole. I had only just gotten it today, and was immediately delighted to the MAX by its brilliant, exciting, and luminous first and foremost impression on my music life.

Boom was great but this update systematically crashes when touching playlist mode artist mode etc Please fix it ! Or pay me back ! OS 9.0.2 and no upgrade intended.

The Boom app cant read the music library. Which is the whole idea of the app. So all the equalizer and surround simply cant be used. Until this is solved, dont spend your money on this app.
