Boom: Bass Booster & Equalizer App Reviews

I love Boom had it on my 2010 MacBook Pro made it sound way better. Got an early 2013 MacBook Pro installed Boom 2 very happy with it. Installed it on my iPhone 7 plus would be great but it doesnt play ALAC files, a little disappointing.

I honestly have a soft spot for Boom. Ive been using it on my Mac for around a year and have grown particularly fond of it. The fact that its just as awesome on iPhone makes me ecstatic. My only issue with it is the app icon. Maybe instead of just copying the Mac icon and putting a colour gradient ring around it, make it fit the iOS design language? Also, theme packs for the app UI would be fantastic! Just my two cents. ?

This is false advertising. You have to either burn a CD like the 90s or have a DRM free music from somewhere... Otherwise its just a regular music player app using the native audio player. This has to be CLEARLY signaled to users

Gyp!! Doesnt tell you until after purchase that it cant play drm protected songs from Apple Music!

This App is the best sounding one on here, and Ive tried many! It plays with my Library music. The sound is so rich, with true stereo all around sound, with just the right amount of Bass quality that I like. I quickly got the paid version. You cant go wrong on this one! Try it for yourself I

This app gave me the boost I needed in my headphones to get me over the edge. I enjoyed the free trial. Wish that I could adjust the volume a little more.

This audio app is awesome. It really brings the music alive. The Bass is clear and tight. It doesnt degrade or distort sound. One thing, it doesnt work well with Samsung Level U headphones. I think it is Samsungs issue. So I returned the Samsung Level-U. This app deserves 5 stars.

Problem: It works extremely crappy with Bluetooth connection, e.g. my Sony 1000X, but works fine with wire connection and wired headphones only. Hope you can fix this issue soon! But as to wired headphones in-ear seems to be better than over- or on ear ones. I tested it with Sony XBA-A3. This app do a good job with 3D off (Must off- this is extremely bad for music playback), 40% intensity on, auto equalizer on, which really gave a sense of real amplifier (not quite but close). I just hope you guys fix the Bluetooth boost soon. Then, it will be perfect.

This little helper app (a replacement for the Music app, that taps directly into your Music library) makes audio sound richer and more vibrant, giving it added depth. The ability to tweak the settings to suit a particular type of headphone is a nice plus. What would be good, would be an equalizer (maybe if I pay...?) and the ability to use Booms augmentation while playing from other sources/players.

Its good but I barely have any songs on Apple Music! Theyre all on Spotify! Please make the app compatible on Spotify!
