Boom does deliver good sound and provides tools to fine tune that sound. I also give it credit for accessing music in your google drive. But Im going to table this tool while they work out some problems.
1) It is good that you display the song title from the tags on the file, but please also display the artist and album tags. Bonus points for including disc and track # tags.
2) Please treat folders in my google drive as an album or a playlist. The app just lists the hundreds of unique tracks from dozens of folders as a single unsorted list. Instead, let me browse to a single folder and playback the tracks in that folder.
3) Provide a way to sort the tracks. They seem to be listed in a random order. Most of my music is from live concerts and should be listened to in order.
4) The player started moving active songs through the "now playing" field at the rate of 2 per second. They didnt actually play. The only way I could stop it was to close the app.
5) Bonus points if you enable me to point the app at other cloud sources. For example, I listen to the Live Music Archives (LMA) a lot. It would be great if I could use a single player for my google drive, my Spotify account, LMA, my podcast subscriptions, and any tracks sitting on my phone. Heck, Id actually pay for an app that can do all that.
I think you could pull it off. Go for it.
