Boom: Bass Booster & Equalizer App Reviews

Its a Must have, but still drains the battery

This brings you a new music listening experience. Improves the quality of sound specially when hearing with earphones Beautiful UI but not very easy to use. Music shuffling is not working well. It almost orders the songs the same. Recently I stopped using it because it drains the battery on my 7plus

Best High Quality And Cheap

Definantly Worth the 2$ it costs me.

Awesome music enhancement

I am enjoying the awesome sound enhancements that this application gives my music. I am pleased to have come across this sound boosting software. I purchased it at a special discount. Well worth it ?

Nice Equalizer

Primarily purchased this app for the equalizer. The one native to the iPhone is terrible, and you have to go through settings to use it. This one allows me to tweak the sound perfectly depending on what headphones Im using, and within the music app. Boom!

Wow

Loving the new changes - ui is great - the multitude of adjustable options are exactly what I was hoping for - not sure how to improve on this!

Im not impressed...

I cant believe this doesnt support Spotify. Something that has an extensive API is seriously neglected. Who in the right mind would use Google Drive or DropBox to store their music? Do you not know you can stream from your own house, no bandwidth used...

Doesnt do as advertised.

Im shocked that this app has received such favorable reviews. The d stop version is great - I really enjoy the functionality of its equalizer. But there is plain and simple false advertisement here when the app claims to "decompress" compressed music ... something that cant be done because compression means data loss and the app isnt scouring the web finding the lost data. Its simply offering very minor enhancements to the sound of you mobile device. Had hoped for more. Not worth a penny.

READ READ BEFORE UPDATING. Loved it before update.

Loved it before this last update. After the update, I deleted the app. I bit the apple and then experienced the fall after the update. Before the update, the 3D function was amazing. The presets were great. I heard things in the mix that were previously buried. Amazing. It was glitchy and interface a bit buggy in touch response; the app would crash or not change screens when pressing commands; however, it was bearable BECAUSE the sound was AWESOME. However, I would not pay for something so immature in development. (I work in R&D at a hardware and software company). Yet, even with the bugs, Id give THE LAST VERSION, five stars. ***** because it made mixes come alive. Read on about update. Big Disappointment #1: The update removed 3D and selectable preset EQ options. I told my friends and musicians about it; they downloaded the update... it was not what I told them about. Big Disappointment #2: A friend downloaded it, and the app did not allow him access to his paid subscription in Apple Music--even after asking him to pick an option of music to access. It gave him a message DRM prevented access to his music. Bad roll out of a feature. If a person is subscribed, and playing on one device, the software should give the handshake to acknowledge its the same device allow use of a paid service. Tells me there was not enough planning in the roll out or testing user experience--to work with Apple so the digital rights license recognized the same device vs. a new app and deny use.

Great great sound, mediocre handling

I love Booms sound, awesome eq presets, rock, bass booster etc. What really annoys me, though, is when you go back from the song thats playing to "artists" the app always directs you back to the top of the list of artists. So you always have to scroll back down if you dont want to keep listening to the (alphabetically) first artist. Why not make it simple and direct the user back to where he was before he pressed play? Really annoying always having to scroll down, makes me consider to switch to another music app... Please change this and Ill give you five stars!!

Just amazing!

Sorry, Apple, but this should come out of the box!

It looks cool but..

Itd be awesome if you add spotify

Was skeptical... not anymore

This app transforms your music in ways I didnt think possible. Apple should acquire these guys, because Id love to see this functionality natively.

Awesome

?It is the best app Ive tried ????

Wow just wow

I am a big fan of boom for desktop so I decided to give this a chance and man I do not regret it. Makes my crap recordings sound good and the good recordings sound amazing. BUY THIS BUY THIS BUY THIS!

Like hearing my music for the first time

Ive have probably 50GB if music. Since albums ice listened to many many times over many years. Listening to them again with the boom enhancements has caused me to listen to these songs with what seems like new ears. I am hearing details in songs Ive overlooked before. Besides making the music sounds great the app itself is a joy to use. I am impressed. If youre a lover of high quality, great sounding music then i highly recommend this app.

Boom!

Makes my music 10x better ??? Im more of a bass person and just with my apple ear buds.. Boom is awesome

Great

Make headphones sound much better. I was fully happy with app until I saw its a 5 day trial, then $2.99.

Finally a app to custom tune sound.

Can make some poor sounding headphones sound good. You are still limited by quality of headphones. App doe amazing things with them.

Bose QC 35 and IPhone 7

I just purchased a Bose QC35 and was astounded by the sound until I decided to DL, now buy this app. What a HUGE difference! It just made my Bose worth every penny and then some! I can really put this headphone to the test and it passes with flying colors in almost any setting! I can really feel the bass now (even though its not made for bass) it actually is. I almost decided to return these for a headphones for more bass and a louder one! No need to now..

Great App, Ugly Icon

Ditch the circle of the icon, itll look way more attractive!
